In 2007 HERNIS supplied the CCTV system for The Ship of the Year, Ulstein’s “Normand Seven” .

Over the years HERNIS has had the pleasure of working with most of the major oil and shipping companies in the world. We tend to establish long term relationships with our customers and enjoy a remarkably high degree of repeat business.

Because we deliver complete CCTV packages HERNIS is often involved in many stages of a project and seeing as we have R&D resources on hardware and software, our customers can choose to involve our expertise in phases like:

Oil & Gas

When it comes to reliability our clients in the oil production supply chain are amongst the most demanding. Any operational irregularity leads to a direct loss of revenue normally much higher than the cost of equipment. HERNIS appreciates these challenges and focuses on high quality and reliability keeping down-time to a minimum.

Among our important partners in the Oil & Gas industry are Drilling Operators like Transocean, Seadrill, Global Santa Fe, Odfjell Drilling, Parker Drilling, Stena Offshore etc., Field Developers such as Shell, BP, Exxon, ConocoPhillips, Statoil, Woodside, Petrobras etc., Transporters (tankers, pipelines world wide) and Refineries world wide.

Marine

A majority of our business goes to the marine market. Our solutions are perfectly suited for all types of marine vessels such as LNG/LPG tankers, shuttle and crude oil tankers and special purpose ships such as seismic, offshore support vessels, containers, Ro-Ro, cruise and naval vessels.

Among our customers are international shipping companies like Bergesen, Hyundai Merchant Marine, Høegh Fleet Services, Petronas LNG, SK Line, Tokyo Gas etc.

Military & Special R&D programs

HERNIS supplies CCTV solutions to Military applications.

Among our customers are German Navy (Corvette class), Royal Australian Navy (Helicopter carriers & Frigate), Royal Malaysian Navy (Patrol Vessels &Corvettes), Royal Navy UK (Landing Platforms & Destroyers type 45)
