HERNIS Camera Stations

HERNIS state-of-the-art camera stations are characterised by low installation and maintenance cost, low life cycle cost and unrivalled durability. The camera stations are delivered complete with camera, lens and telemetry control. They come with internal cabling, wipers and an integrated receiver unit and are vibration-, salt-, humidity- and temperature-tested according to Det Norske Veritas Type Approval Standards.

To withstand harsh environments like the heat and humidity of the Middle East and the arctic frost of the North Sea, HERNIS has developed housings and enclosures made of maintenance-free, electro-polished stainless steel. This material has been chosen to give maximum protection to the sensitive equipment inside the units. Ingress Protection (IP) ratings 66/67/68 further add to the qualification for use in harsh environments.
