HERNIS 400The HERNIS 400 CCTV system runs a Windows operating system which controls an analogue video matrix. The system is expandable in steps of 16, up to 992 cameras, 256 monitors and 256 keyboards. Each of the 16 video outputs on each card has a programmable text generator which superimposes text onto the video image. The internal communication of the HERNIS 400 system operates on a CAN (Controlled Area Network). Utilising CAN makes it easy to add new communication nodes for camera stations and keyboards and enables a decentralized system. HERNIS can also offer a hybrid solution combining the digital HERNIS 500 System (link to HERNIS 500 system page) with the analogue HERNIS 400 System. This combined solution offers both the clarity and no latency of an analogue video system and lets you utilize all aspects of a digital CCTV system.
