Specification Review:

HERNIS with our experience offers to review the specification with our clients in an early stage to meet the need for the end user, and also recommend improvements that will make the system even better for all parties involved.

Engineering:

Many projects require advanced engineering by specialists within the CCTV field. HERNIS has provided this service for more than 25 years. Our services range from assessment of the client’s needs, initial design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, testing, to the supply of detailed documentation to the customer.

After many years of supplying in-house developed and manufactured systems, the staff at HERNIS has acquired extensive knowledge in design of optimal CCTV systems according to customer specifications. HERNIS has also acquired broad experience in interfacing towards other systems such as drilling systems, DCS (Distributed Control System), fire and intruder alarm systems, motion detection and “special purpose” control systems; such as subsea ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles)

Documentation:

HERNIS has developed procedures, drawings and data sheets for every main product manufactured. This enables us to create a tailor made documentation package for each project. According to our customers specifications we supply:

  • Documents for Approval
  • Certificates
  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) Procedures
  • Internal Test Procedures
  • Commissioning Procedures and
  • Technical Manuals

Testing and FAT:

From the very beginning HERNIS has sought to deliver products and systems ready for installation and commissioning on site. This means that every product has to be tested and verified to meet our stringent quality standards. Every system is being set up and tested with a selection of the different items intended for the project. If the customer requires a witnessed FAT, it will be arranged either with the customer present or a third party inspector. A FAT report will be submitted as part of the delivered documentation package.

In House Repair:

HERNIS offers an Ex approved workshop that repairs all our products, in respect to the mechanical, electrical and electronic faults. Typical repair time is 1-2 weeks. . To be able to cover emergency repairs we have a replacement stock of selected equipment which can be shipped within 24 hours.

Technical Support:

HERNIS offers Technical support to our clients, on claims and technical issues. Our 3 dedicated Technical support engineers are grouped into 3 areas, to cover the whole world where HERNIS is present.

This team is also dealing with after sales for spare parts and recommendations to the client for upgrade and expansion of the existing CCTV system.
